What I don't understand is why a bidder would complain about a snipe program. If it does anything it serves to keep an auction from bidding out of hand.

The dumbest thing I see on auctions is two bidders bidding each other up 10 or 20 bids apiece and when there is still 5 days or so to go on an auction. Hello -- there is no prize for being high bidder mid way through an auction!
