If you are making suggestions to Ebay I have a suggestion which I think would clear up the greatest number of disputes on Ebay.

They should REQUIRE that the cost of domestic shipping (if being paid by the buyer) be noted in the auction (it could be a field up top). If the cost of shipping can not be determined prior to the end of the auction (either the cost depends on distance or the buyer has a choice of shipping options), all the information needed to calculate the shipping should be stated (ie. package ways 5 lbs shipping by priorty mail from zip code XXXXX plus $1.00 for box&packing materials)

There is simply no reason that Ebay should permit a seller to say buyer pays shipping and not disclose the cost in advance.
