I agree, no matter if you use programs or not, you put a bid in for what you are willing to pay for that item. If you get out bid oh well you should have rethought what you were willing to pay. and just because somebody was higher than you by a dollar doesnt mean they didnt bid 10, 20 or even thirty dollars more than you were willing to, ebay just puts them up to the next bid amount. JMO
