They were always reluctant with £2.50's. I originally got 4. Firstly playing blackjack I got one. A few minutes later when I won again i was asked to return the one from my pocket (for a £5). I told them i had just used it for a drinks tip. On another table, I actually asked a dealer to give me 2x£2.50 for a £5 and this poor inexperienced dealer did so! The 'checker' went ballistic and asked for them back. The pit boss intervened and said 'its too late, we cant stop you taking them this time but dont ever ask again'.
