It had been mentioned here quite a few times that the chip had been pulled. Perhaps were were all just passing rumors around person the person.

I've added a revision, actually a notation in the auction as a disclaimer. I stated that i received tnotice that the chip was in play on the tables. I also sent a litter to the buyer that had already bid on the auction informing him of the new information, and letting him know he wont be held to following through with the auction should he win.
