You have learned your lesson. I am sure next time you will ask the seller about combined shipping before you bid.
The seller of these auctions must also learn his lesson. If you cannot reach an agreement about the shipping charge with him then negative feedback MUST BE LEFT. If he had only stated that "multiple auctions won will not receive a discount on shipping charges" then he would have been in the right to charge the entire shipping cost.
Negative feedback must be left. It will allow others who may bid on his auction to ask questions first, or not bid on them at all. It is your duty as a customer of his to get the word out on his type of business practices. I know I will not be bidding on any chips up for auction by "alpha1243". Not unless he makes good with you, and descides to treat his customers with more respect.
Don't worry about him getting back at you by returning negative feedback. What's he gonna say...you gave him too much money??
