That is twisted logic. There is no relationship between value and shipping charges. They are exclusive of each other.

So, you pay $34.55 for a $600.00 chip. Great Bargain!! Point being is that the seller probably didn't have a clue what it was worth to start with. So, then, seller gouges on shipping?? You say, "Yup, I found a real bargain so I will pay $50.00 shipping." That does not even come close to making sense.

I can see one saying, "That would have been a great deal even if I had to pay $50.00 shipping."

To actually do it, no, that makes no sense.
