I'm not that computer literate so I need some help. I'd really like to buy my wife a Dell Notebook { laptop } for Christmas and I want it to be a surprise ... so I can't ask her what to get. I was looking at the Dell Inspiron 1100 { link is below }.

My wife's a Teacher... Language Arts { when I was in school they called it English }. She would use the Notebook to type up some school stuff, keep track of kids grades, do reports, etc.

Would this Inspiron 1100 { as it's shown } do the job ? Also...would she be able to use floppy disks and connect a Mouse...once again as it's shown.

I defintely want a Dell. Any and all help would be appreciated.
