I go through this about every week. It takes me 6 1/2 hrs to fly from Philly to Heathrow and it usually takes me about 9 hours to get home from Wisconsin to Philadelphia.

I don't mind shipping to to the UK except for the payment peice (although the pound is a lot more stable than the dollar - Thanks George...) and dealing with the post office, custom forms, etc. I recently was planning to ship a laptop to London and decided it just wasn't worth the effort. Chips however - not that big a deal.
