Nice chips (and from a great casino).
As David has mentioned, the 5/- chip dates the set prior to decimalisation although several casinos continued to use the chips beyond that date, no doubt to save the cost of issuing new chips. I have a Curzon chip which has 4/- on one side and 20 np (New Pence_ on the other, which I assume was issued just before the change-over and so they put both old and new currency values on the chip so that it could continue to be used!
I have seen the £1 before and have a scan of it on my website - I'd love to use the scans of the other chips if that's ok with you (and any others from your collection that are not already listed - please check the site below)
As for value, English chips are generally cheaper than (I think) they should be as there are very few collectors out there for them. The set would probably bring around $50 if sold on Ebay, maybe less as they are cancelled. I'd certainly be interested though if you are selling!!!
