My understanding is that earlier this year, the Nevada State Gaming Board issued an 'edict' that whenever a chip is declared obsolete, for whatever reason, the casino must post a public notice and give a minimum 120 days in which chips can be redeemed. The Excalibur notice is precisely 120 days. However... at the same time the board also specified that the minimum mintage for any LE was to be 500. Gene?? $50 Playboy?? and i have seen others!
