wouldn't define Flagship property as the biggest or the most expensive.
Rather I would call a flagship property that property that has the most cache, name recognition or that undefineable something that registers positively with gamblers.
BTW, if the Bellagio was the flagship, I'm sure the company would have moved to change their corporate name to include Bellagio. Also, why did MGM feel the need to add the name Mirage to their name when they acquired the Mirage. I think there is something about the Mirage that MGM want to capitalize on.
Also, the Mirage is comping my room in November. I may be biased.
