I see absolutely nothing wrong with the bidding war going on with these chips (other than the excessive shipping charges.) The seller is not making any false statements or do I see any representation of any kind regarding the rarity of these chips.

I haven't checked in detail anything regarding the bidders, but I don't expect any of them to be "one of our own," but are probably fans of the two entertainers.
