I like playing Craps but am fairly new to it. I haven't played it much but this is my understanding from what I have learned.
Bet the LINE
If you don't crap out or get a 7 or 11(?) on the come out roll you establish a POINT, Take ODDS on your line bet, THE POINT.
Some casinos might allow 2x, 3x or as much as 10x or 100x your line bet for odds (?)
Some people will say to take full odds that are allowed but I am not a huge better. Therefore to take 10x or 100x of a $1 or $2 bet would be a bit much. I would say, though, take the full odds allowed, or as much as you can afford, for your level of bankroll. Remember here that you will want several bets running simultaneously so bet your bankroll accordingly and consider the amounts of those other bets.
With subsequent rolls, bet the COME. Just like before with the LINE bets. If you don't crap out or get 7 or 11(?) on the next roll, you will establish another POINT. Take your ODDS on that bet.
Repeat the COME bet scenario above. I don't recall if it is recommended to take 2 COME and associated ODDS bets along with your LINE bet and ODDS or to take 3 COME bets. I know there is a recommended limit though as you don't want to over extend yourself and have too much going at the same time and over expose yourself to an inevitable roll of 7. Lets say it is 2 COME bets with your LINE bet.
Once you have the 6 bets going, (Line and Odds Come and Odds Come and odds), just roll until you get a point or 7 out. Hopefully you will have one of those 3 hour rolls going and will be raking in a lot of hits on your bets.
If you win on one of your bets, other than your LINE which will start another game, I think the bet will still stand and be active. I guess you would just keep it going. If they do take the winning COME bet and it's ODDS down then I would think you would place another COME bet and maintain the LINE and 2 COME Bets along with all associated ODDS bets. If you make your line point, I think your COME points and their ODDS will stand through your next game(?), until 7 is rolled. They may be off though during the next "Come Out Roll" and become active when the next game is ON.
Please correct me if I am missunderstanding.
