I think that The Chip Board remains the non-specialty board for casino collectibles while the Strike Point, Slot Card Board, Roulette Harvesters’ Board, etc. have become specialized offshoots. People have been posting non-chip content here forever, and, notwithstanding the fact that the ratio has been bending away from chips themselves, I, for one, enjoy reading just posts about all kinds of collectibles.

Maybe someday, if one of the areas of specialization becomes as huge as silver strikes or slot cards, another board will be formed and we’ll lose all of the posts about, perhaps, ashtrays or matchbook covers (which would be a real shame, since there’s so much great history in these).
