That was a good suggestion. Especially around the holidays when I do quite a bit of shopping online I find myself setting up accounts with all kinds of e-merchants and such. Most of them make you set up accounts with passwords etc. I don't like to keep such information electronically on my computer because of the posssibility that they can be read. Keeping them in a ledger near your computer is good as they can't be read unless someone actually gets into your house or office to take them.

Unless there is a way to read them as you are typing them in. One of the suggestions that eBay sent me was that some worms or viruses can keep logs of keystrokes on your computer. I assume then, when you go online, the virus then sends the file with that data to an online source for retreival by other virus effected computers or the Virus creator themselves. I think I have read that sometimes viruses will post such files on USENET Groups where they can annonomously be retreived later.
