I have had comcast for a number of years now (back to the @Home days). I have had a few problems over time and the technicians have come out to fix the problem. Each time they claimed it was a bad wire, would replace the wire and leave.
About 7 months ago I was having so many problems that I just went to CompUSA and bought a new cable modem (I had been leasing one from Comcast). Since then I have had ZERO problems.
Where I live, DSL is not even an option but I am happy with Comcast.
