Many of us have been in your shoes. It sure does hurt while you are going through it. You wonder how you could have done it diffently so that you would not have been screwed like that. There is nothing that is going to change what happened. It is done and it is not worth going after the guy. Eventually, your interests will return to normal and this will be forgotten. It may take time, but it will happen. Just be thankful it was only $55. It could have been much worse.

It once happened to me with a guy from New Orleans. Guess what? I was going there on a business trip the next month. I was all ready to find this guy and get my money's worth. After I got there I thought better of the situation and did not seek him out. Who knows what could have happened. So I quit while I was only down around $75. Like the song goes "you gotta know when to fold'em."
