Many collectors try to trade/sell obsolete chips for more money than face.I find that in most cases you can buy obsolete chips at less than face. Why??? Because some casinos sell off large quantities of chips at pennies on the $$ when they make them obsolete. Other casinos destroy their chips. some even just throw them in the dump. I like most of us do not know what the case is in every chip.Is there any way to know? Lets hear your opinions on this.
