I always thought that the Colony Club was next door to the Pair of Shoes in Hertford Street , close to Berkeley Sq. By the time I hit London in 1978 , these had become the Hertford Club and the Park Lane Casino . I don't have chips from them , but a few matchbooks & pens lying about .
