One possibility is using a clear coin tube like this

They have 38mm and 40mm varieties and will hold 15 or so with no problem. By filling the top with something (cotton, styrofoam, clear plastic chip spacers, krazy glue, whatever) you can have enough pressure to keep them from shifting in the tube.
