*Scan O The Day
Dropped the ball on my last trip and didn't stop at Crystal Bay. Being a fan of Lincoln Fitzgerald, I surely wanted to see this building and soak up some of that old timey Lake T gaming atmosphere. Crystal bay is the perfect place for that as the places are throwbacks to, well, late '30's in the case of the Crystal Bay Club and Tahoe Biltmore. Tahoe Biltmore '46-'58, Nevada Club/Lodge '58-'86 and remamed to T. B. Remains to be seen what they end up doing over at the Hyatt Regency in nearby Incline Village as their casino had a ski lodge feeling to it, very unique these days.
Oddly, the $1 chips have inlays but the red house chips are hotstamps. Found several 50th anniversary in play from a 3000 chip issue but no Milenniums. The $25 chips are drop-dead gorgeous to my eye, mixing in another era, 50's modern that echos some cues from the building facade. Table luck was such that I cashed in my greenies but Paul Hegge has a scan on view at:

There is also a great looking slot card available but the players club runs from the hotel desk which was quite busy during my visit so I didn't sign up. Don't miss Crystal Bay if you visit the area - Crystal Bay is cool!
