You stated "...most mail is machine sorted." Don't we pay more for large envelopes and bubble pack envelopes because they are not "machineable"? Are you telling us that bubble pack envelopes "do" go through a machine? I believe the gentleman who lost the contents of his bubble wrap envelope stated that the envelope was CUT open.

I will state in defense of USPS employees that if a person sends a chip or chips in a machineable envelope then that person is his/her own worst enemy. Those machines will only tolerate up to a certain thickness. Anything over that thickness is subject to getting LOST!
