Re: Mail Theft
In Response To: Mail Theft ()

Carl: So far I am out over $700 Canadian from those "mysterious" Disappearing chips and cards, in one instance 168 chips in one hit. Twice I never had insurance, which is what set me back so much, but now, any transaction I do of anything over $25 I offer the option of insurance and advise I will not be responsible if it isn't purchased. The drawback is, up here, the cheapest Insurance you can get on a parcel with postage will set you back $10. As for insurance claims, well, the seller shouldn't be too upset, as it comes from the Post Office, so its not like they are out of pocket.

All I can say to end this off is: "If some postey ever shows up on here offering to sell a load of chips cheap, he better keep clear of me."

UPS *WILL* ship casino chips for over face...
That's interesting because....
Difference might be...
They asked me if casino chips are ...
are chips really "considered numismatic items"???
They're certainly not part of a coinage...
