I answer to where is the best food the question is how much do you want to spend? The best is at Bellagio or Paris but I don't want to spend $50 per person for my meals. My wife and I try to see how much great food we can eat for the smallest amount of money. If you get the Las Vegas Advisor coupon book you get your money back by eating at the Palms where they have a 50% off coupon up to $100. For cheap food that is very good I suggest Ellis Island for dinner(steak or ribs for $4.95) and Wild Wild West for breakfast ($.99 for a full meal). As far as where to stay - anywhere on the strip is OK but stay on the strip if you want to walk between casinos. My favorite is Circus-Circus - but it is very crowded with lots of kids on weekends. But it has the nicest $39 rooms in town.
