I opened a Persoanl Account about 2 weeks ago and from what I've read and from what Will said he's correct.

I registered my Checking Account & Credit Card at PayPal.

I withdrew money from my Checking Account into my PayPal account { it took a few days }.

From what I understand say I have $100 in my PayPal account and I buy something for $200. PayPal will witdraw the $100 from my Personal Account then go to my Checking Account for the remainder of the balance.If there's not enough money in my Checking Account they'll then go to my Credit Card.

If I remember correctly you don't have to register a Credit Card and a Checking Account...but it has to be one or the other.
