The Grandparents Club, that is. Austin Daniel Engstrom entered the world 9/22/03 at 4:32a.m. The doctor induced labor starting 8:00a.m the previous day, but the baby was stressed with almost all the contractions. After trying everything to avoid it, he performed a C section. What he found amazed him. There was a a softball-sized fibrous tumor blocking the baby from being born. After excising the tumor he delivered a 5 lb., 11 0z., 17 1/2 inch long healthy, BEAUTIFUL baby boy. This has been a very hectic but wonderful week! Here is my very proud wife holding our first grandchild.
