I just heard about the underground plans for the railroad at a dinner in Reno last week. I can't help but think $400 million could be put to better use if the idea is to make Reno more attractive to gamblers and other visitors. Development of the River area near downtown would be first on my list. Anyway, I kind of like the railroad as a link to the past.
