One last thought on this is:

How did the chips WARP in the FIRST place. After using the HOT AIR DRIER and observing the chips harden again I was struck by just how much heat I needed to UNWARP them.

The chips came in bubble wrap which would have melted during shipment so it had to happen at some other time.

What temperature I was at and what temperature a chip WARPS/UNWARPS at I have no clue!
