Answer: Because no one trusts the sellers.

Whoever found these chips is not to be trusted. Too many collectors, some were very knowledgeable, were really scorched on these chips. The set was originally being sold for around $800. The story was that just a few chips were found. The guy who tried to sell them to me said that he won four sets in a poker game. That is bullsh*t.
