Harrah's is a better choice in my opinion. The rooms are better, the food is better, and the staff is nicer. I booked a room at the Isle over the 4th and found out I actually booked into the "Inn at the Isle" which is off from the casino and regular hotel by about 100 yards. This isn't terrible but since it poured rain that weekend, we had to huddle and wait for the shuttle to bring us too and fro.

The restaurant on the second floor of the Harrah's complex is fantastic. Although pricy, the food is worth it (IMHO).

Gaming at the Harrah's Star is quieter, especially on the tables. The Isle of Capri boat is small and packed. The Isle's Grand Palais is large, but again packed on weekend nights.

Have fun, and if you happen to see some money lying around, its mine. I think I lost it around the blackjack tables.
