I remember playing 3 Card Poker at Fitzgeralds a couple of years ago when I used to stay downtown, and always had to wait while chips over $100 where verified (not that I ever had many ).

More recently, staying at the Paris, $500 and $1000 chips have never been a problem (although again, I have never had more that $2000 at any one time).
