This color variation exists for the $1 chips of Circus-Circus, Flamingo Hilton and Las Vegas Hilton. In looking at the two Frontier chips pictured below, there seems to be beige mixed in with the bluish-gray tint. Only the beige one is listed in TCR. I tried to see if it could be wear but I don't think beige can 'wear' into gray. Could this be another color and if not, how can this color 'change' be explained?? The 'gray' chip is not overly worn and is exactly the same on both sides?? Chip gurus.........????????
