As with my other posting, I am seeking a couple of the Golden Tulip casino $1 CHIPCO chips.
Scanned here is a "doctored" transfer sheet for a CHIPCO produced chip. The actual transfer sheet has a 5 x 6 array (30 images) of the Golden Tulip casino $1 chips. This scan only shows a 2 x 2 subset of the full sheet.
A transfer sheet is used (probably in a similar approach to an iron-on transfer) to imprint blank chips with the inked image. Therefore, the images on the transfer sheet are reversed from what I am showing. (That is the "doctored" part of my message. With the magic of digital imaging, I have reversed the scanned image to show what the chips would actually look like.)
I picked up the transfer sheet through an eBay auction and now need the corresponding chip for my collection. Actually, I am interested in two of these chips, one for the collection and one to keep with the transfer sheet.
I suspect that the Golden Tulip casino is/was an African casino, but I am not certain. Nor do I even know if it ever existed.
Anyone have one or two of these chips?
Thanks,
Jim Follis
