There should be a lot of .25 chips out there from early day California Indian casinos...Most of them started out at bingo barns, then added slot machine like gizmos "that acted on the algorythmic principals of the California state lottery" (smile). Then they added "player pool" blackjack (banked card games are illegal in California) and made their money by charging a fee to play. From Fresno North, they charged .25 to play a hand of blackjack, betting 1-9 dollars. South of Fresno, they charged .50 to play. Imagine paying .50 per hand to play 3.00 bets! Anyhoo, most had .25 chips in their trays.
