For those who don't know, Janice and I live in coastal Norfolk, VA. We also have waterfront property. Normally, all of this is a good thing. HOWEVER, we're currently in the direct sites of Isabel. We have decided as of now to evacuate and head further inland. However, if Isabel changes course, we'll probably stay. We have a lot of seniors to consider as well (my mom-in-law, aunt, honorary aunt with lots of health problems, and one of their friends). To complete the group, my wife's two brothers (one of whom has three cats) and our son will be coming, too. We'll be taking our two dogs, two cats, and two birds. We'll be leaving early Wednesday.

Needless to say, I don't know when we'll be back. Any kind thoughts, prayers, etc., are openly solicited and appreciated. I pray for minimal damage and no loss of life.

If I have bid on anyones auction, please give me a little extra time to respond. I'll finish any outstanding business when we return. (if we have house with power)
