Michael Moore who is from Santa Barbara published one of the three major books on California chips back in 1997. He lists three places under Santa Barbara:

Skaggs Lee's Card Room 1913 State St. 93103 1975-1977 An Illgal Club. Chips have B,R,W
interlocking marking.

You need also to look through the other two major California chip books:
Eastman's Guide to CA Card Room Chips.
And:
Calif. Chips by Armin Pfaender.

I would suggest that a visit to Jim Mundings show in Arcadia, Casinorama, Oct. 18 would be a good place to look for Calif. chips.
