I have dial-up, but since I have a dedicated phone line and my son is my ISP, I'm on line for many hours without breaking my connection to the internet. So my son installed a software firewall (Black Ice) on my computers for me to protect my network. Thanks, Charles, for explaining. I've been off the board for a several hours.
