I can't imagine a bet that big. I don't hang out in the high roller areas and I've probably never bet more than a $100 at one time. I guess its all relative. I think the biggest bettor I've ever watched was a Saudi playing 2,000£ on the black at a roulette table in a small club in London in the 70's. He was losing pretty steadily and they brought out a new rack of 20,000£ for him - he signed the little slip and lost it in about 15 minutes - about the same amount of time it took me to lose my $100 stake. Made me feel like I wasn't doing so bad...
