On those occasions when I have a double of an item from my antique store, I have a choice of two ways to go. 1) List the second item after the first closes. It may go higher, it may go lower. I've learned not to predict, at least not correctly. 2) Use the second high bidder option, save a lot of time and effort, take the money, for better or worse, and run. For low-end collectibles, I usually choose 2). For better antiques, I usually choose 1).
