I guess I was a born collector as I have been collecting "something" since I was 4 years old.
I still have a tiny hand full of small colored stones I gathered in our drive way and brought to my mother at that time, some 64 years ago. She kept in a vase all her years and I have the vase and the stones now.
In 1980 Jerry and I first came to Las Vegas on a vacation and I discovered a $1 cruise ship token in a slot pay out at the Flamingo, which we still have along with many albums full of slot tokens. That one token and all that has followed eventually led to our move to Las Vegas when Jerry retired from Ford in Detroit.
Now tokens (still my first love), chips, match covers, casino playing cards (single cards in baseball card pages), slot cards, swizzle sticks, bungie cord ends, casino key chains, coctail napkins, keno cards, and just about anything else
with a casino name on it.
In the last several years we started adding Jim Beam decanters that were casino related. Noe we have almost an entire collection of every Jim Beam figual decanter made.
So, yes, "collecting" has been an addiction all my life. Janice O'Neal CCGTCC CH-008
