Mine IS one of a kind per Chipco.
NOT NUMBERED.
It was slated for notching but escaped the process. Its a good story for another day.
I would be interested in what the auction seller says about his statement "same both sides". I am betting it is NO 1 or 2. Numbers are on one side only.
Chipco confirms 100 made.
I know Cutler and Hall bought one. Cutler won the coin toss and bought No 1, per Hall.
I always thought Jarr got one and believe Kruse's conversation with Jarr.
But somewhere in the BB archives you will find a post by a friend of Jarr's asking if anyone has a $500 for sale. He wanted to surprise Jarr for his birthday, because Jarr did NOT have one. I did not offer mine as it is the only chip I can prove is one of a kind. Hopefully still can after that auction.
Are we sure it was the Hall/Spinetti chip sold in the club auction? I know Hall's chip was not with Spinetti's original buy of the Hall collection. I remember telling Spinetti to look further because it should be there, there was a safty deposit box with more chips. I knew because Hall's box was right under mine at the same bank. I don't remember following up to see if Spinetti got them.
This is mine and it IS the same on both sides.
