Vlrginia City !! Gotta see historic Virginia City. Less than an hour out of Reno. Got the camel and ostrich races Sept. 5th thru the 7th. 'Course, if you've seen one camel race, you've see 'um all. . The Sat. morning parade is usually pretty good though.

If they have them this year, the Great Reno Balloon Races are the same dates.

Then there's the Reno Air Races....Sept. 11th thru 14th.

While you're here, the Lake Tahoe area is a must.
