As was stated, as long as no misrepresentation is involved, then no harm. However, let's look at this whole situation another way.

Most of us on this board are collectors as opposed to dealers.

As a rule, a dealers must charge more than a collector. Reasons can include the fact that he must supply his customers promptly, advance all money until paid, time, etc., not to mention that this is a business and as such, is entitled to a profit--whatever it may be.

Collectors, on the other hand, are satisfied with trading and trying to purchase chips from others at the lowest price possible.

Most collectors, especially those that don't live in Las Vegas, AC and near other metropolitian areas have very little opportunity to sell chips on Ebay, Jackpot or the BB, save but the few they may get from vacation trips, etc.

Some of these infrequent sellers feel that maybe they can make a buck or two extra by auctioning off their duplicates. Absolutely nothing wrong with that either.

But some of us feel another way. Such as, instead of my trying to sell a $5.00 chip for $7.00 which is fair, why not sell that chip for face value plus $1.00 postage or actual. An in turn, I will be able to buy a chip under the same conditions. If you are like me, I buy a heck of lot more chips that I sell--and if I can save a couple of bucks on each chip I buy, I will be many dollars ahead of the game because I can't sell anywhere near the number of chips with a $2.00 profit than I can buy.

In other words, scratch my back and I will scratch yours.

This is why the chips@face was created. And oh,yes, while I am at it, I will be at Sonoma Joe's tomorrow night and if any one on the list wants any chips from there, (at face, of course) let me know before noon,
