This is the neatest chip I picked up at this years convention. It is a First Issue Thunderbird $5 chip. The $5 chip itself is fairly common as many were sold at the convention a few years back. This one is different though. not only is it in near mint condition with square edges and no table wear, but it has extra printing on it. One side is marked 25 instead of the usual 5, and the other side has both the 25 and 100 marked on it. Both sides feature the familiar diamonds on each side of the denomination just like on the regular issued 5 and 25. Has anyone ever seen this chip before? Any ideas on how it ended up this way?
