Lorrie mentiponed that she usually doesn't make a purchase without comparison shopping. It amazes me how many people bid on eBay without apparently doing a search for the item before they bid. What happens is you have two identical chips, one with a $5 starting price and no bids and another that has several bids and is up to $11.
Go figure....
