Even though all my wife and I did was donate $$$ we had a blast . Met Chuck Smorse at the Four Queen's for a few beers { not noly is he a great NIS but a great guy also }. Stopped in to say hi to Gene at the Palms.
My Casino Gaming was primarily Let It Ride & Roulette for the last several years. I learned how to play Three Card Poker { very easy to learn } at The Orleans. Second hand Straight Flush { beginners luck I guess } and about the fifth or sixth hand Three Of A Kind . Did very good over all !!
Visited Sam's Town. Nice casino...great employees !! Learned how to play Hold Em .. Fold Em Deuces Wild Poker { or something to that effect }. Lost quite a bit playing but I enjoyed the game.
My wife and I took a tour of Red Rock Canyon { we enjoy desert scenery }. Beautiful place and worth a tour.
Tried to win a few Silver Strikes ... but my wife was luckier than I was. "Thanks Chuck" !!!
We ate at The Range at Harrah's. A little pricey but worth it. The Steaks & Lobster were excellent. On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it an 8. Had to hit the Californina Pizza Kitchen at the Mirage for their Spaghetti & Shrimp ... delicious.
Visited a few of the smaller casinos this trip { Barbary Coast, Gold Coast, The Orleans, Sams Town, O'Sheas .. and a few more } along with the larger resorts { Harrah's, Bally's, NY NY, Mirage, Palms .. and a few more }. Enjoyed every one.
Looking forward to next year { hopefully the convention }.
