My buddy just got back from Monaco with some interesting facts that surprised me.

For instance, table games are " roped off" so as to only allow the players access to the games. Bystanders are kept a good distance from the tables. There was a fee to enter the casino.

Once inside, my friend found that the black jack tables did not open untill 5:00 PM. The casino was quiet and dark, and very old and bland in appearance. Many side rooms ( high rollers? ).

Very sparse crowd at 3:00 PM. Sure as heck wasn't Vegas.
