Page 87 CC&TN Fall 1994
Set of 13 $450
House mold golf course, 1,5,25,100,500,1000
House Mold Baccarrat, 5,20,100,500,1000,5000
Oversize Orange $25,000 baccarrat
(just under 35 bucks a chip)
Same CC&TN issue
CT coins, same chips
$1 = $5
$5 = $10
$25 = $10
$100 = $20
$500 = $25
$1000 = $30
Etc.
Set of all 12, $200 (nice deal @ $16 a chip)
Set of 13 with $25,000 chip = $450
So I will guess that the $25,000 baccarrat is the key to this series?
Wall and someone else, if I remember right, had made an offer on the old Prodigy BB for sets of 12, very reasonable, but the deal fell through when "The gaming control board blocked the sale".
CT still had the best offer at the time, and what they still have left have increased in price. $1000 chip is now $100 list price for example. TCR9 $60 for golf course, $40-$50 for Baccarrat, which is about double the original asking price in 1994 for a single and if you bought a set of 12, they look even better.
I don't collect these. No personal opinion. Consider the above nothing more than quoting numbers from old ads and guides. (except comments in brackets)
