I used to take chips to Sharkey. These later ones I bet came from me. I went there several times in the mid 90's. He would buy them or trade me. When he wasn't there his daughter Michelle would buy chips, postcards & lots of smalls. His son Butch would help make the tables. I remember seeing one that had lots of my stuff in it. We always sat at a different table in the dining room. There was so much to look at in those tables! Most of the time stuff I took him was scattered around in the few tables at a time they would make. She bought some old postcards for him one year as part of a Christmas present for him. Sharkey was great. What a place. All that knew him will always miss him. That casino is not the samew without Sharkeys touch to it & all his great collectibles on every inch of the wall. It was a museum. I hope many of you made it there to see what a work of art it was with all his saddles, boxing memorabilia, old signs, etc. Wish I would of taken pictures inside!
